Assumption Fine Foods began with a simple obsession: the intoxicating aroma of fresh truffles. Today they supply some of Singapore's finest restaurants, luxury hotels, and discerning private clients — positioning themselves as the go-to truffle specialist in the local market. With a lean two-person team, every minute spent on admin is a minute taken away from what they do best.

Before Kickstack came in, Assumption Fine Foods had no website or online store. Orders came in through WhatsApp. Invoicing and payment collection ran through Xero. Price lists were manually updated and sent to each B2B client every few weeks. For a small team servicing premium clientele, the admin burden was unsustainable — and there was no scalable path to reach everyday consumers beyond their existing wholesale network.
The goal was clear: reduce friction, eliminate manual work, and open a new B2C channel — without disrupting the B2B relationships already in place.
A full Shopify build covering storefront setup and brand identity application, product catalogue and collection architecture, B2B custom pricing with tag-based customer segmentation, Shopify Payments and PayNow integration, delivery slot selection and TrackPOD logistics automation, image and creative asset optimisation across various sections for site speed and performance, and 14-day post-launch monitoring.
The central challenge was building a single storefront that served two very different customer types — wholesale B2B clients with custom negotiated pricing, and retail consumers paying standard prices — without either group seeing what the other pays.

This was solved through a tag-based custom pricing app that segments customers upon login, displaying the correct price list for each account automatically. B2B clients can now browse, select, and purchase at their agreed rates at any time without needing to contact the team or wait for a manually updated price list.
On the logistics side, TrackPOD was integrated directly into the order flow. When a customer places an order and selects a delivery date and time slot, those details are automatically pushed to the delivery partner via TrackPOD's TMS. Any amendments — date changes, pickup switches, delivery notes — update in real time.

On dispatch day, the delivery partner marks the order as on the way and the customer automatically receives a notification with a live tracking link. The entire fulfilment communication chain runs without a single manual touchpoint from the Assumption Fine Foods team.
What was once a WhatsApp-and-spreadsheet operation is now a fully automated commerce workflow. Assumption Fine Foods can now accept orders, process payments, and coordinate deliveries around the clock — with near-zero admin involvement per transaction.
